- Early drive to Polonnaruwa (~1.5 hrs) to explore the ancient city and ruins (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
- Travel to Kandy (~4 hrs), stopping at Matale Spicy Garden along the way.
- Evening: Enjoy Kandyan Cultural Dance Show and visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth.
- Overnight in Kandy.
