Day 01 : Negombo
- Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, you'll be greeted by a Sri Lanka Vacation Tours representative and transferred to your hotel in Negombo.
- There, you'll meet your tour leader and fellow travelers. If you arrive early, enjoy some time on the beach.
- In the evening, join the welcome meeting, have dinner at the hotel, and unwind before starting your journey in Sri Lanka.
Day 02 : Negombo - Wilpattu 3 hr 24 min (151 km)
- Next day morning start the journe y from Negombo.
- Visit Chilaw Munneswaram kovil while coming to Wilpattu from Negombo.
- Then visit Vilaptu National Park and stay at a hotel that night.
Day 03 : Wilpattu - Anuradhapura 51 min (38.6 km)
- Morning arrival to Anuradhapura.
- After arriving in Anuradhapura, pay obeisance to Ruwanwelisaya and Sri Maha Bodhi and visit many other shrines.
- After that go and see the Sigiri rock.
- Overnight stay at a hotel in Sigiriya.
Day 04 : Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa 1 hr 15 min (58.6 km)
- After breakfast, travel to Polonnaruwa to explore its cultural treasures.
- Visit the Quadrangle complex, including the seven-story palace of King Parakramabahu, the Gal Vihara rock temple, Rankot Vihara stupa, and Lankatilaka Buddha image house with its detailed carvings.
- See the impressive 100-meter statue of Parakrama I.
- In the evening, enjoy a safari at Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park to witness the largest elephant gathering.
- Return to Sigiriya for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 05 : Sigiriya - Kandy 2 hr 27 min (89.3 km)
- After breakfast, travel to Kandy, stopping first at the Dambulla Cave Temple. Explore its five caves with around 150 ancient Buddha statues and paintings. Continue to Matale to visit a spice garden and learn about Sri Lanka’s spice heritage. Arrive in Kandy, Sri Lanka’s second-largest city, check into your hotel, and relax.
- Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 06 : Kandy
- After breakfast, explore Kandy's highlights.
- Visit the Royal Botanical Garden to see a variety of birds and orchids, and stop by the gem museum to learn about Sri Lankan gem mining and jewelry.
- In the afternoon, watch an exclusive cultural performance at a local dancer's home.
- Later, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, Sri Lanka's most important shrine, where you might witness the puja ceremony.
- Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 07 : Kandy - Nuwara Eliya 2 hr 41 min (77.5 km)
- After breakfast, travel to Nuwara Eliya.
- On the way, visit the Ambuluwawa peak tower and biodiversity complex, then tour a tea factory to learn about Ceylon black tea production.
- Arrive in Nuwara Eliya, known for its cool climate and tea plantations, check into your hotel, and relax.
- Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 08 : Nuwara Eliya
- After breakfast, relax at the hotel and explore the charming town.
- Visit the Single Tree temple and take a 40-minute hike with stunning views of the hills and tea fields.

Day 09 : Nuwara Eliya - Yala 3 hr 17 min (113 km)
- After breakfast, travel to Yala with a scenic train ride from Nuwara Eliya to Ella. Stop in Ella to see the famous Nine Arch Bridge, Ravana Falls, and Buduruwagala Temple.
- Arrive at your tranquil Yala accommodation, which offers easy access to wildlife. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Yala.
Day 10 : Yala National Park
- Today, enjoy another safari in Yala National Park.
- Board a 4x4 to explore grasslands, forests, and lagoons, with chances to see crocodiles, elephants, monkeys, and possibly a leopard.
- Birdwatching is also rewarding, with around 215 species including the Sri Lanka Wood Pigeon and Painted Stork.
- Return to your resort for dinner.
Day 11 : Yala - Galle 2 hr 14 min (150 km)
- After breakfast, travel to Galle, a picturesque seaside town near Sri Lanka’s southern tip.
- Check into your hotel and join a walking tour of this well-preserved colonial town, featuring a Dutch-built fort and a mix of ancient mosques, churches, museums, and boutiques.
- Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Galle.
Day 12 : Galle
- After breakfast, relax on the beach.
- Dinner and Overnight stay at Galle.
Day 13 : Galle - Colombo 2 hr 9 min (129 km)
- After breakfast, travel to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s vibrant capital.
- In the afternoon, join a walking tour of Colombo Fort, including a visit to the distinctive Red Mosque with its striking minarets.
- Explore Dutch and British colonial architecture around the city.
- Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Colombo.
Day 14 : Colombo
- After breakfast, your trip ends, and you will be dropped off at Colombo Airport.
